Heritage can be understood as some tangible and intangible historical or cultural assets that are conserved and later passed on from one generation to another. Heritage is something that reminds us of the history created by the people living in different timings and societies. The purpose of celebrating World Heritage Day is to spread awareness of our rich cultural diversity and the importance of preserving our ancient heritage. This year the theme of World Heritage Day is "Complex Pasts: Diverse Futures. It reflects that our cultural and natural heritage are both irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration. They're our touchstones, our points of reference, and our identity. Our students of Grade 6 to 9 enthusiastically took part and created beautiful posters to spread an important message to the younger generations to carry forward their legacy and preserve our culture.
