“Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, knowledge makes you great.” - A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
On the occasion of World Literacy Day, the students of grades VI-IX participated in a plethora of activities in the virtual classrooms to lay emphasis on the fact that education is not only a human right but also the foundation stone to build a more sustainable future for all. To mark this day, students projected their viewpoints in the form of slogans and colourful posters. They also initiated a ‘read-a-thon’ with their classmates, created a photo bucket of educational resources, and designed bookmarks with quotations of famous personalities written on them. Besides, some of the senior students spoke on the importance of making education accessible to all and focussed on literacy development to overcome various challenges across the globe. The enthusiasm amongst students in participating in various literary activities speaks volumes of their collective commitment and responsibility of building a conducive environment for education and generating awareness on the importance of education.
